When not at my laptop, I can often be found at Gasworks NYC, a pottery studio in Brooklyn, making functional pieces that I offer for sale. One of the many great things about being a potter is that your hands are often covered in clay, so you can’t go near your phone. It’s also a different kind of creative outlet than writing and provides a wonderful contrast.
